Day by day itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Begin your journey to Vytina, a traditional village famous for its honey, located at the mountainous Arcadia. You can get there by public transport, rental car (we can provide to you upon request) or our excellent English-speaking drivers can transfer you to the starting point. (for an extra charge). If you arrive early, you can get lost at the numerous shops that provide local pure products like honey, xilopites and etc or walk along the street of Love, a beautiful path that is surrounded by wonderful trees and in the old days it was the meeting spot for all the couples in love. Get a good night sleep, as your adventure is about to begin. Overnight Vytina
Day 2: Rafting
In the morning, you will meet our local guide that will transfer you to the rafting base at Vlaxorapti. Getting familiar with the equipment and the safety protocol is time to embark on the raft and enjoy a fun and full of adrenaline tour down to the river, where according to mythology god Zeus used to take baths. Our great water adventure is over and we are back to Vytina. Enjoy dinner. Overnight Vytina
Day 3: Hiking
Your adventure begins with a scenic hike through the breathtaking Lousios Gorge, one of the most impressive landscapes in the Peloponnese. Surrounded by dramatic cliffs, lush vegetation, and the soothing sounds of the river below, the trail leads you through an area rich in both history and natural beauty.
Along the way, you will visit the historic monasteries perched high above the gorge, including the remarkable Philosopher’s Monastery and the iconic Prodromos Monastery. Built into the rock face, these centuries-old monasteries offer a glimpse into the spiritual life and architectural traditions of the region, while also providing breathtaking views over the gorge.
After the hike, enjoy a relaxing picnic by the crystal-clear waters of the river. Nestled beneath the shade of tall trees, this peaceful setting is the perfect place to unwind, savor local flavors, and take in the tranquil atmosphere of the gorge.
The day concludes with a visit to the fascinating Open‑Air Water Power Museum in the nearby mountain village of Dimitsana. Here, you will discover how the power of water once drove traditional workshops and supported local industries, from flour milling to gunpowder production. Overnight Vytina
Day 4: Departure
After an unforgettable journey through the landscapes and cultural treasures of the Peloponnese, today marks the end of your adventure. Enjoy a relaxed morning before your departure, taking with you wonderful memories from places such as Lousios Gorge and the charming villages of Dimitsana and Vytina
